Job Description: Job Title: Wealth Advisory Head / CEO Job Grade: Department: Wealth Management Reports to (Job Title): Managing Director Job Purpose: - To partner the CEO with strategic and operational decision making, to drive the development of wealth management policies and procedures and manage all third party relationships. To create and implement strategies and structure that will enable Team Managers to achieve their sales, revenue, productivity, client acquisition, employee performance and advisor retention targets. Major Accountabilities : - Responsible for the profitability of the business - Provide strategic direction to the Wealth Advisory Division to enable business growth (I-Products); - To sell investment services to high net worth individuals primarily through face-to-face meetings and networking with various sources through direct prospecting, cultivation of external referral sources and creative networking with key influencers. - Responsible for identifying and building high-quality client relationships within the high net worth market. - To research prospects financial picture to develop an informed perspective on individual prospect and/or client situations and possible needs in order to determine how to best provide service as well as to use as a vehicle for selling products which will preserve and grow clients wealth. - To achieve revenue goals, be responsible for generating their own leads and manage the sales process through closure. Once closed, to be responsible for transition of day-to-day management of the client to designated Portfolio Officer. - To maintain periodic contact with existing clients and acts as a liaison between the client and the rest of the business for various activities (e.g. setting up accounts, facilitating transactions). - Represent personal financial planning in various business councils and task forces such as: personal fiduciary service, investment management, financial consulting as well as through visibility within the community by attending networking events and/or holding memberships within organizations which serve the high net worth population in the market. - Provides written quarterly updates on their business providing information on new clients, existing clients, potential clients and overall percentage of revenue goal - Efficiently troubleshoot issues and/or problems in a timely manner; seek guidance if needed - To kick start sales and marketing. Expedite outsourcing sales and marketing activities, including digital marketing efforts from a professional agency. - Complement investments made in product execution team, who can support new customers with some acts of balancing CRM gaps, execution gaps in every i-product divisions. - To sign SLA with respective operating companies for availing their infrastructure, license and services. - AUM targets of 10,000 crore each in Equity and wealth products. It's a fee potential of 200 crore p.a. This division is a catalyst to future revenue growth, attracting new customers and build targeted AUM. - Hire, coach and motivate a team of Wealth Management Advisors to achieve and exceed the client service benchmarks and sales goals - Communicates all relevant and critical information to management in a timely manner - Implement review systems for the business including Monthly review meetings; - Budgeting, costing and cost controls; - Regular internal audits and ensuring compliances with minimal variances; - Ensure smooth functioning of the function and ensure that minimal decisions are referred to MD. Ideal Background : - Educational Qualification: MBA from a leading institution - Minimum 12 years of experience with at least 5+ years- experience leading / supervising teams ideally in multiple office locations. - Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where superior time-management and prioritization skills are essential. - Possess outstanding business leadership, people development and cultural change management skills gained within the financial services industry. - Extensive experience within investment banking, private banking, private wealth offices, investment boutiques - Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements of all products. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate internally and externally - Proven track record in generating sales and managing relationships with high net worth clients, including broad technical skills in retirement products, general investment matters and applicable tax issues. - Demonstrated experience understanding a client's unique financial situation, providing appropriate advice and solutions, and exhibiting financial leadership. - Excellent interpersonal skills and client face-to-face relationship building skills - Must possess the highest level of integrity, strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills - Must be a team player and be able to work cohesively with management, colleagues and staff - Able to occasionally travel (local and domestic) to client meetings and events - Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. - Proficient computer skills using various electronic trading systems and algorithmic trading platforms
