- Excellent knowledge of any one of the processes- finance, procurement, HR, sales, operations etc. will be a plus

- Strong communication abilities (both written and spoken English skills) as the role will be client facing

- Strong leadership qualities and ability to handle multiple teams of 2-5 members each

- Proficiency in the following is required/ preferred:
1. Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as K-NN, Na- ve Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees, etc.
2. Experience with common data science toolkits such as R, Weka, NumPy, etc. Excellence in at least one of these is highly desirable.
3. Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI/GGplot/Tableau/Qlikview is required.
4. Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL for writing complex queries (min. working knowledge required).
5. Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase is a plus
6. Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
7. Min. working knowledge of MS excel is required. Knowledge of VBA Macros will be plus
8. Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle and/ or other ERM software is a plus
9. Knowledge of software development using .Net/Java/PHP/HTML would be an added advantage
- Preference for candidate with consulting (top tier and Big 4) experience or experience with top IT companies

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology/tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
- Act as a team leader on client-facing projects and take full responsibility of planning, resourcing, and delivery; guide the team in every phase of the project and ensure the delivery meets client expectation
- Effectively engage with client counterpart in discussions related to the project delivery and provide new perspectives/insights
- Assist in and contribute to business development activities, development of tools/ solutions and methodologies, thought leadership materials and points of view
- Designing and delivering solutions for clients to automate data analytics activities specific to Governance, Risk and Compliance:
- Work directly with clients to determine technical and functional requirements
- Evaluates the current client system landscape and works on customizing/ building the most efficient solution for data warehousing, ETL and reporting in line with the clients' functional requirements
- Conduct UAT, SIT etc. for testing and installing the solution in a client environment
- Conduct training and other workshops for key client users
- Provides proactive support by troubleshooting problems in client solutions to ensure effective stabilization of the client solution
- Develop visualizations using dashboarding tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview etc.
- Perform in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis and summarization of complex transactional data
- Manage teams to support ongoing engagements in the execution of data analytics:
- Manage teams to collect, manage and analyze huge volumes of structured and unstructured data in support of ongoing engagements
- Perform analytics to identify patterns and detect suspicious activities, anomalies on transactional and operational data
- Create, manage, and utilize high-performance relational databases (SQL Server, Microsoft Access, OLAP, and other proprietary software)
- Design and develop ETL processes to consolidate heterogeneous data into a common platform
- Perform in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis and summarization of complex transactional data
- Use extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the work to be performed.
- Network to build professional relationships within and outside the Firm
- Monitor performance of team members and provide constant guidance, constructive feedback and opportunities to explore new areas
