KPMG - Forensic Research Role - Competitive Intelligence

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Function : Forensic - Competitive Intelligence(Level-2 Research Profile)

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Preparing non-financial due diligence reports.

2. Supporting private equity funds and financial institutions in strategic/key investment decision making and commercial, legal and regulatory dispute and compliance matters in India

3. Assisting in execution of investments / deals / mergers in various industries and across sectors.

4. Conducting primary and secondary investigative research on specific targets (individuals / entities) in order to highlight red-flags that can be potentially damaging to an organization.

5. Conducting background checks related to shareholding / ownership structure of an organization, other business interests, key personnel, pending litigation, market reputation, business style, regulatory non-compliance, adverse media checks, credit check, international watch lists, etc.

Skills Required :

1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

2. Ability to analyse and present complex information in a clear and concise manner

3. Excellent attention to detail and quality conscious

4. Excellent research and report writing skills

5. Strong in MS Office

6. Demonstrates ability and willingness to learn new concepts and take on new challenges

7. Ability to organize the daily work flow among team members

8. Demonstrates flexibility based on client/job requirements
