India editor   The role is to understand the nature of requests and execute language quality assurance across a range deliverables.  Main duties and tasks :   - Improve on existing content to create impactful messages in the reports.   - Para-phrase content   - Editorially review content (reports, thought leadership articles, media queries, etc.) developed by KGS India Markets team  - Provide training to wider team on content writing skills  - Serve as the English-language expert on documents, including newsletters, articles, PoVs, whitepapers, and thought leadership pieces.   - Ensure compliance with stylistic and risk norms.   - Be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and timely delivery of all projects assigned.   - Make constructive suggestions for improving content and grammatical consistency and quality.   - Independently and efficiently handle multiple projects end to end.   - Liaise with analysts and SMEs on editorial value addition in sync with intended messages to be conveyed in deliverables.  Experience and skills required :  - Proficiency in different styles of English (US, UK, Australian), but especially UK /India-centric specializations   - Some knowledge of, and comfort level with, business and industry content an advantage   - Ability to effectively edit content without tampering or taking away from the original intended meaning of technical content   - Ability to convey key messages in very few words without losing the original intended meaning or impact   - Excellent communication skills; experience in journalism/communications   - Ability to work under pressure - handle crunched timelines, turnaround swiftly and be adaptive to frequent changes in the nature of requests  - Ability to prioritize and plan efficiently when dealing with multiple requests and stakeholder changes/feedback/suggestions   - Ability to be a proactive team player with a solutions-centric approach  - Project-management and team-leading skills in overall work and service delivery approach
