Working with Manager on TMT Strategy projects / work streams while working with the global Strategy member firms, predominantly US - For medium to large engagements, being actively involved in structuring the output and its delivery - Being responsible for design and quality of deliverables - Directing, managing and mentoring junior team members on engagements - Supporting KPMG US Strategy team on leading business development initiatives, including bid proposal and management - Actively building and managing the relationship and interface with international KPMG Strategy TMT professionals, predominantly in the US Strategy member firm - Contributing to thought leadership and knowledge management to support practice development - Recruiting, managing and contributing to the development of junior staff Essential skills required Education / professional qualifications MBAs, CFAs and Engineers from a leading Indian/International educational institution Prior Experience: Relevant experience (1-4 years) gained in either corporate roles, strategy consulting, or similar analytical/ deal experience in the TMT sector/ propositions (as applicable) Project and Team management exposure - Prior experience in project scoping, effort estimate, project work planning, team handling, staffing, providing feedback, etc. - Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also working as part of a team during larger projects - Strong problem solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity - Goal driven - should be focused on helping clients meet their requirements - by developing answers and solutions when client requirement remains unclear / changes, and by providing relevant insights and key questions to fit the client objective - Credible record of operating at a team management level - Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills - able to demonstrate how one supports the other - and sound commercial acumen - Experience of leading small teams on projects/ workstreams and developing proposals Behavioural / team skills - Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations - Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Team player; self-driven and ability to work independently
