We are looking for individuals with 3+ years of experience in atleast one of the following areas of expertise: AML, Sanctions, and Transaction Monitoring and with demonstrated view on overall AML program requirements for financial services industry. In order to be considered for the role, you must clearly be able to demonstrate the following:

- Held a role in the FS industry such as a financial crime/ AML manager in a bank, a similar role at a big 4 consultancy or in the financial crime team of the regulator;

- Substantial understanding of the India, UK, US and ASPAC financial crime regulatory requirements and market practice.

- Good understanding of AML concepts and ability to articulate knowledge of latest trends and developments in the area of AML (e.g., FATF standards, Wolfsberg principles, Prevention of Money Laundering Act,2002, Bank Secrecy Act, US Patriot Act)

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, team attitude and client focus

- A self-starter approach, keen to learn and build expertise

- A Master's degree in finance, law or accountancy. Certifications in financial crime domain would be preferred (ACAMS, ICA, ACFE etc)

- Fluency in English. Any other language is considered an asset

- Be able to work independently

Role:

- Execution on client engagement
- Ensure quality delivery as per client requirements

- Understand business & industry issues/trends. Identify areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes to enable preparation of recommendations

- Ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality & risk management procedures.

- Demonstrate an application & solution-based approach to problem-solving techniques

- Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution/methodology development.

- Develop strong working relationships with a client (process owner/functional heads).

- Attention to detail and mentor young interns and analysts within the practice.

- Contribute to knowledge management sessions within the practice.

- Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
