Job Description
Role: Manager for Actuarial Practice team
Position Description:
To play an instrumental role in developing the actuarial team within Advisory in KPMG India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver actuarial projects
- Deliver program / projects as per defined timelines
- Cater to professional and technical training requirements of the team
- Ensure engagement levels within the team
Technical Skills required:
- Should be proficient in Prophet and spreadsheets, e.g. MS excel, etc.
- Program coding skills are a plus
Experience / Skills required:
- Engineer, MBA or CA by qualification
- Should be actively pursuing actuarial exams and close to being an Associate with a sound theoretical and practical understanding of concepts
- Should have a sound knowledge of Embedded Value Reporting and related frameworks
- 6 to 7 years of actuarial experience with excellent understanding of actuarial aspects
- Strong analytical, quantitative and innovative problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written & oral communication skills
- Ability to engage with clients is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure, straddle multiple projects
- Strong project planning and leadership
- Ability to mentor, coach associates and senior associates
