KPMG hiring for Accounting Advisory Services-IPO Management
Location: Delhi/NCR
Skills Required:
- Experience of financial reporting and from a reputed organization. Past working experience in accounting would be an added advantage
- Professionals with industry experience or experience in US GAAP, IFRS, accounting advisory, due diligence and securities offering assignments in India / abroad would be preferred
- Possess strong domain knowledge, has strong accounting foundation skills
- Practical knowledge of finance function and financial reporting process
- Practical knowledge of the financial reporting compliance from a regulatory perspective
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Possess strong data analytics skills and knowledge of advanced data analytical tools will be an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (presentation skills)
- Ability to work well in teams
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications and exposure to ERP systems like Oracle, SAP and Tally will also be an added advantage
- Have the ability to work under pressure - stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours
- Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time
- Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic
Responsibilities :
- Applicants are typically project team members who will be involved in providing accounting and audit related advisory support to clients, including
- Application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Financial reporting support (technical as well process related) services to clients
- Provide technical as well as process assistance in relation to conversion from Indian GAAP to US GAAP/IFRS and vice-versa
- Assist clients with respect to financial reporting requirements in connection with listing of securities
- XBRL conversion of financial statements of clients
- Applicants may lead a small team of analysts/trainees on engagements
- Consistently deliver quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned to him/her
- Monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
- Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge
- Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge
- The job would require travel to client locations within India and abroad
Educational Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant/ ACCA with financial/audit experience of minimum 2 years during articleship and/or post qualifying (if any) with a public accounting or Advisory firm
- Chartered Accountants who qualified CA on or later than May 2015 are eligible for these requirements
- CA aspirants who have appeared for final examinations in November 2017 can also apply
