KPMG - Assistant Manager - Managed Services

Roles and responsibilities :

- To effectively lead the Managed Services Risk and Assurance approach across the onshore and offshore operation.

- Supporting the Risk and Assurance Manager to deliver the teams objectives and to identify and assess both Operational and Regulatory Risks including maintenance of a strong control testing environment across the operations

- Identify, assess and oversee (as directed by the Risk and Assurance leadership) Operational and Regulatory risks across Managed Services and maintain a strong control testing environment across the operation.

- Ensure that business unit policies and procedures reflect current regulatory requirements and support Managed Services compliance with all relevant regulatory obligations including adequate management information, record keeping, breach reporting and management of conflicts of interest.

- Identify, assess and manage the regulatory and operational risks in MS and maintain a strong risk and control awareness across the operational teams.

- Periodic review of control and independent testing to ensure effectiveness and relevance of controls

- Ensure Information Security risks are effectively managed in line with client expectations and work extensively with KPMG internal information risk and IT teams to apply appropriate standards.

Essential skills required :

- Min 5 yrs in a risk profile with exposure to operational and regulatory risk

- Communication and relationship management skills.

- Good organisation skills

- Problem solving skills and the ability to use information to generate creative solutions to benefit the business.

- Awareness of the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation, procedures and processes

- Preferred background in Financial services industry, with exposure to remediation processing and conduct risk reviews for location

- Shap focus and eye for details on potential risks and work out mitigation plan

- Focus on results-led management

- Competent level on Microsoft Office tools i.e. excel, word, powerpoint
