We at KPMG Global Services - Accounting Advisory Services (KGS-AAS), are a team of accounting specialists dedicated to provide high-quality and timely services to KPMG member firms on a wide range of accounting issues. Our team comprises experienced qualified professionals with in-depth knowledge of accounting requirements, practical and commercial experience. We provide services for transactions that require complex technical accounting and financial reporting. We support KPMG member firms with various types of transactions, such as buy-side and sell-side transactions, IPOs, adoption of new accounting standards, technical advisory and accounting change services, accounting policies review and financial reporting.
Education / professional qualifications
CA / CPA / ACCA / IFRS Only
1. Lead a team of consultants and associate consultants for executing projects on behalf of international KPMG teams and clients (- onshore team )
2. To undertake smaller and medium sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager
3. Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through weekly meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders
4. Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with onshore teams to the entire team
5. Review the work performed by the subordinates and coach them
6. To provide support/assistance for proposals/business development
7. Provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards
8. Assist with US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions
9. Provide conversion services to U.S. and foreign registered companies to / from U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
10. Provide transaction oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex capital raising and financing structures, complex financial instruments, revenue recognition and leases.
