The job role would involve :  - Being a key member of the strategy team working on both inorganic projects, new business initiatives as well as internal projects within the Kotak Group.   - Evaluation of strategic initiatives for the group, across businesses, and execution thereof.   - The role will involve financial analysis and modeling, including valuations where the member would need to support acquisitions and investment transactions.   - Assisting on planning initiatives with the Business Head / Project Lead Manager.   - Data compilation, analysis and interpretation of internal / external business information of industry, players, benchmarking information with respect to peers, and specific opportunities which will help in strategic decisions   - Regulatory update and analysis as needed for various opportunities as above.   Job Requirement:  - CA/ MBA with about 1 - 5 yrs experience  - Needs to be conceptually sound and have the ability to understand and think through valuations, read and interpret financial data, internal business situations and so on.  - Should have the ability to read data and interpret it appropriately.  - Excellent Analytical skills (financial and numerical).  - The individual needs to have an eye for detail   - Excellent proficiency in Excel. This will be a critical skill that is required.  - Reasonable orientation / understanding of one or more of Kotak’s businesses and how they function, and/or their key drivers.   - Temperament to work in teams, as well as appreciate importance of effort like data search/ compilation for the purposes of strategic interpretation.  - Ability to interact and co-ordinate with other businesses, teams and individuals for the purpose of executing projects.
