Kotak - Manager/Sr Manager - Accounts

Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Ltd. is one of the fastest growing Life Insurance companies in India. We are looking for candidates for our Accounts & Finance department.

Following are the key responsibilities of the jobholder -

1. Preparation of financial statement and related schedules.

2. Meet deadlines to pay service taxes and TDS dues.

3. Understanding of applicability of service tax & income tax and implement recent amendments if any.

4. To capitalize fixed assets items on monthly basis.

5. To work on intercompany transactions and obtain quarterly confirmations.

6. To analyze monthly expense and report the variance to the management

7. To prepare budget for the department and report the variance with actual to the management.

The skills that we are looking for in an ideal candidate are as follows -

- Good understanding of Indian GAAPS

- Good communication skills and command over English

- Experience in General Ledger accounting, vendor payments, bank reconciliation and taxation

The candidate MUST be a Chartered Accountant (Batch 2008/09/10/11).

ONLY Mumbai based candidates will be considered.
