Kotak Mahindra Bank - Team Member - Counterparty Risk

The role offers significant interaction with management and exposure to multiple stakeholders. There is good scope of improving processes and practices and the breadth of the role will provide significant business and personal development opportunities

This role is required to strengthen the counterparty credit risk function and will involve close collaboration with Treasury, finance and compliance. Focus will be on proactive risk analysis of counterparty banks, countries and the implementation and management of a robust counterparts credit risk framework that meets the need of senior management and the regulator.

Role :

1. Credit evaluation of counterparts banks. Country risk exposure management.

2. Develop and implement models for credit risk ratings of banks and for country risk analysis

3. Develop, implement and execute stress testing methodologies for counterparty and country risks

4. Responsible for developing policies related to counterparty credit risk, country risk and maintenance

5. Implement automation initiatives for better control and risk

6. Regulatory reporting

7. Undertaking critical projects and adhoc risk request as they arise

Requirement :

1. CA or MBA preferred

2. Experience in credit analysis of financial institutions

3. Knowledge of the credit and lending industry, treasury products and operations

4. Experience in counterparts credit risk modeling and quantification

5. Knowledge of OFAC, sanction regulations

6. Technical expertise with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive a strategic agenda

7. Upto date Knowledge of regulations affecting counterparty and country risk

Skills :

- Quantitative and analytical skills. Close attention to details

- Programming experience such as SQL

- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with colleagues at all levels

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
