Job Requirements:

- The candidate will be part of the healthcare strategy of the alternate assets practice.

- Ideal candidate should have curiosity, high engagement and should be meticulous at problem solving. Understanding the healthcare / life science with focus on medical device / digital health as an industry dynamics is a must from both global and domestic perspective.

- Associate will be involved in all aspects of investment process: deal origination, modelling, due -diligence, execution, value up and help in framing exists. AVP will not only, lead deals / investment opportunities on its own but will also help other members of KAAML in execution and other aspects of due diligence.

Key Skills required:

- Subject matter expert / appetite to become a subject matter expert (medical device / medtech / digital health)

- Proven investment sourcing skills, including ability to develop market mapping strategies, generate targets and qualify investment opportunities

- Must possess ability to build financial models, valuation metrics and deal structure

- Strong work ethics and data driven with excellent communication skills (verbal/writing/presentation)

- Passion to build/ investing and learning about new trends in life-sciences industry

- Able to work in small teams and ability to interact comfortably with senior management (internal and external)

- Strong EQ with ability to maintain relationship with external stakeholders, (founders/Investment bankers/ third party agencies, etc.)

Eligibility:

- 3-5 years of experience either at a IB, OR in a VC/PE role

- Experience of working at a top tier consulting practice with experience in medical device/medtech /digital health is preferred

- Ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in medicine MBBS / MD along with MBA (tier 1) / CFA/CA or other relevant accreditation
