Job Role : Analyst - Equity Research:

Tracking companies within the sector allocated :

- This involves building, maintaining and regularly updating detailed financial models, providing updates (including quarterly result updates) to the fund management team

- Giving stock and sector recommendations to fund managers

Meeting with corporates : Regular interaction with corporates through one on one or group meetings

- New idea generation within the sectors tracked

- Maintaining individual sector Model Portfolios to communicate preferred ideas within the sector being tracked

- Contributing to the overall Common model portfolio- both the large cap and mid cap model portfolios which are maintained by the research team

- Contribute towards the sales and marketing of equity funds

- Sectors to be tracked: Cement & Metals. Should be open to tracking new sectors as well

Job Requirements :

- Minimum 6-7 years in equity research

- MBA/CA with engineering/quantitative background preferred
