Role and Responsibilities

Program implementation, oversight and development

To implement School Teacher Enrichment Program /GURU as an integral part of providing quality training to teachers in KEF partner schools, so as to ensure improved learning outcome in students from under privileged background.

- As a part of senior management team Deputy Project head is required to work on programme designing, project implementation and budget management under supervision of Senior Project Head .

- Represent STEP/Guru on different forums- within and outside the organization to take organization's mission forward.

- Work with Team for roll out of project activities throughout the academic year in KEF partner schools.

- Work with different stakeholders within and outside the organization ensuring quality delivery of project at Teachers and students learning outcomes as defined by program objectives.

Communication, Monitoring and Evaluation

- Communicate effectively with all relevant stakeholders including Project heads, Head Masters/Head Mistress, teachers and outside agencies as appropriate

- Prepare, review and monitor project reports at different intervals with respect to KEF guidelines.

- Regularly communicate about project progress to stakeholders within and outside the organization

- Financial management and grant oversight

- Preparing and managing budget for the intervention under guidance of Senior Project Head

- Responsible for implementing activities in accordance with project or activity budgets
