Position: Technical Accounts Director

Level Of the Position: Director

Responsibilities of this position:

In this role s/he owns all commercial aspects of Komli's Facebook PMD ads platform. s/he will head the department that takes customers through the sales funnel from the initial lead through to account management and full scale product adoption. This will involve delivering demonstrations of the platform to clients, setting up implementation of the platform, organising and executing training and orientation for new clients and providing on-going account management and technical support. This role will involve doing all of those things personally initially, and then building and developing a team across the region to provide these services as the business scales as well as leveraging the resources currently available in the Komli business. Key success metrics are number of customers and size of billings through the platform. The person will be expected to drive thought-leadership as well as set up SOP- s, contribute on pricing policies, sales materials etc.

Key Responsibilities

- Demonstrate how the platform works to potential clients

- Provide technical/operational support to clients

- Conduct the one month orientation training sessions

- Provide the service levels for clients documented on the service level agreements

- Conduct regular work shops

- Provide account management through product updates and support

- Meet account billing targets by showing the benefits of the client spending on the platform

- Work closely with sales and marketing to drive profile and revenue in the market

- Get market feedback to advise on the product road map

- Build and hire a team to deliver best in class platform servicing

- Work across functions to enable local teams in market to provide service levels

Qualifications & Experiences

- 3+ years in a social media environment

- 5+ years in a sales environment

- 5+ years in a management role

- 3+ years in a digital technology company

- 5+ years in the digital advertising industry

- Has been able to prioritise tasks and manage time, even under high-pressure situations

- Has worked in a regional business with different cultures

- Has thrived in fast paced environments with aggressive targets

- Has been able to work independently but effectively report up, down and across

- Experience building business from the ground up

- Managing regional teams

- Setting up best practises and SOPs

- Key Account management experience

Qualifications: BE/MBA
