Job Description of Chief Risk Officer-:

a)To oversee and manage the organization's risk management activities.

b)Responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating various risks that could potentially impact the Company's operations and financial stability.

c)Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework and strategy aligned with the Company's objectives and regulatory requirements.

d)Risk Assessment and Identification: Identify, evaluate, and quantify risks across all areas of the Company's operations, including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, liquidity risk, compliance risk, and strategic risk or any other risk applicable to company commensurate with its scale, size and nature of business.

e)Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and controls to minimize the probability and impact of identified risks. This includes establishing risk limits, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

f)Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines issued by regulatory authorities and ensure the Company's operations are in compliance. Implement and maintain an effective compliance program.

g)Risk Monitoring and Reporting: Establish a robust risk monitoring system to track and report on key risk indicators and emerging risks. Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and the board of directors, highlighting the organization's risk profile and areas of concern.

h)Risk Culture and Awareness: Foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organization by promoting risk awareness, education, and training programs for employees. Encourage a proactive approach to risk management across all departments.

i)Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and rating agencies, to address risk-related inquiries, audits, and assessments. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as senior management and business units, to facilitate effective risk management.

j)Crisis and Business Continuity Planning: Develop and maintain robust crisis management and business continuity plans to ensure the Company can effectively respond to and recover from unexpected events and disruptions.

k)Risk Governance: To provide oversight and governance of risk-related activities to risk management committee. Collaborate with the board of directors and executive management to ensure risk management is embedded in the Company's strategic decision-making process.

l)Industry and Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging risks that could impact the Company's business. Continuously assess the effectiveness of risk management practices and recommend enhancements as needed.
