Knowledge Expert for a large Consulting firm
Responsibilities:
- Act as an expert resource for consulting and client teams especially on sales & distribution and Go-to-Market in Emerging Markets
- Deliver projects and initiatives to support the advancement of the Practice Area
- Apply expert knowledge to satisfy complex client demands
- Provide expert perspective on methodology and leads scoping, work-planning and day-to-day activities
- Develop specialized knowledge that can be leveraged across other practices; present own original content in internal and client settings
- Collaborate on planning and management of the topic agenda with topic lead
- Develop and manage key global products and tools end to end- including analytics-oriented ones; ensure best of knowledge
- Lead initiatives to ensure quality of knowledge capture and go-to-market materials
- Support the local office, e.g. train analysts or consultants
- Manage team's capacity and deploy resources according to business needs - taking into account key KPI's
- Ensure high quality output from team members
- Drive goal setting, performance evaluation, career tracking, and long-term professional development
- Play active role in recruitment and onboarding according to business needs
KEY COMPETENCIES :
- MBA from premier B-School with at least 7-10 years of overall experience spanned across sales & distribution, roll out of sales technology systems and people management
- Demonstrated expertise in sales & distribution function (preference for experience in the FMCG industry)
- Experience in sales technology implementation roll-out is desirable
- Should have strong people management experience of leading & coaching teams
- Advanced university degree and demonstrated high academic achievements
- Autonomous self-starter and ability to tolerate ambiguity
- Strong presence, interpersonal, leadership and credibility skills
- Experience working in virtual, global team (crossing time zones and cultures)
- Strong relationship building skills (with both peers and senior stakeholders)
- Effective written & verbal communication (will interact with clients)
