At Klub, we are focused on building a Revenue Based Financing (RBF) marketplace by providing growth capital to loved online consumer brands and D2C brands. We have successfully made 200+ investments in brands across sectors like fashion, beauty & personal care, FMCG, ed-tech, F&B, and subscription businesses since August 2020.
Our Founders are Anurakt Jain (13 yrs exp, VC at DFJ and Vertex, corporate intrapreneur at InMobi; IIT-D, Wharton, CFA) & Ishita Verma (11 yrs exp in i-banking/investing at Kotak, Unitus Capital, Snyder UAE; LSR, IIM-B).
We have raised a seed round of $20 million backed by 9Unicorns, Sequoia Surge, Alter Global, Japan's GMO VenturePartners, and multiple angel investors in August 2021. We previously raised $2 million in pre-seed funding from Sequoia Surge and multiple angels in 2019.
What is RBF?
RBF takes a revenue share as returns instead of equity dilution or fixed EMIs, making it ideal for a post-Covid financing ecosystem. This is flexible and revolutionary, and we are looking for enthusiastic and talented folks to help us democratize access to financing for all companies!
About the Role
Business development
- Strategize top of the funnel expansion and identify key channels for sourcing brands
- Generate new brand leads, identify and contact founders and build a solid top of the funnel for Klub's RBF
- Explain RBF and Klub products to the brands
- Act as a liaison between the brands and the internal teams to complete the investments
- Improve brands experience
- Ideate on tech-product improvements to automate the funding application process for brands
- Implement initiatives to improve TAT for brands
- Own all the metrics that improve the brand's experience with Klub
