Company Profile

- Snow Leopard Group is a ~7 year old financial services entity founded by Chris Kolenaty and based out of Pune, MH.

- Snow Leopard Group is in the Client Service Business, whether it be via investing client capital, providing corporate strategic advisory services or corporate training. Clients come first.

Snow Leopard Group consists of the following entities:

1. Snow Leopard Ventures - Venture stage investors in global leading businesses.

2. Snow Leopard Advisory - Corporate strategic advisory for the Kirloskar Group and other entities. We provide capital raising, M&A advisory and strategic alternatives/analytics services.

3. Oarfish Professional Training - Professional training in corporate finance, valuation, and general all-around common sense.

Position Overview

Snow Leopard is looking to create a pool of analysts that will be shared within the Snow Leopard Group for work in any of the above mentioned areas. If you are interested in this role, you should not necessarily be looking for a career specifically in buyside or sellside, but rather a desire to become a financial services generalist.

We are looking for people who ALREADY LIVE IN PUNE.

We work on the first and third Saturdays of every month. You may be asked to work additional days depending on deadlines. As mentioned above, this is a Client First business. If something comes up with a USA stakeholder at 11 pm IST, you would be expected to hop on that call. If something comes up at 6 am IST, you would be expected to do similarly.

More Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Snow Leopard Ventures:

Portfolio Companies :

- Work with portfolio companies - ensure compliance, governance, analyze performance, assist in monitoring, put together MIS analyses

- Meet new potential companies - meet new companies for potential investment

- Investment Firm To-Do's - draft investment committee memorandums, create analytical models, capitalization table analyses, future IRR/CoC return analytics, etc., all in conjunction with investment

- LP communications

Snow Leopard Advisory :

Corporate Strategic Advisory Work :

- Company overview materials, from both a qualitative and quantitative standpoint of potential other businesses to partner, acquire or invest in

- Strategic analysis materials regarding accretion/(dilution), value creation with regard to share repurchase

- Marketing materials for fundraising mandates

Oarfish Professional Training :

Professional Training :

- Create slide materials for professional training coursework

- Teach materials

Other Not Specifically Mentioned Above :

Perform financial analyses which may include the following with a high degree of speed and precision

- Discounted cash flow

- Public comparables

- Acquisition comparables

- Pro forma combination analyses

- Cap table analytics

- Portfolio analytics

Other:

- Build three-statement full-blown financial models for portfolio company analytics including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement

- Analyze performance of portfolio companies on an ongoing basis and highlight lagging areas or areas where the firm can potentially add value

- Analyze the impact of a proposed combination, divestiture, acquisition on earnings, credit profile and value

- Prepare presentation and marketing materials for the fund, investment committee memorandums and management and board of directors presentations, LP presentations

Education and Experience

- Top 15-20% ranking throughout academic career at top-tier schools in India or abroad with transcript records available

- Record of high achievement, superior maturity, integrity

Knowledge and Skills :

- Strong research capabilities

- Thorough analytical abilities

- Extremely strong grasp of written and spoken English, both grammatically and colloquially

- Interests outside of work should place value on a healthy lifestyle

- High degree of intellectual curiosity

- Team player with ability to work in small groups

About the Founder :

Chris is a native New Yorker and has been a financial services professional for the past sixteen years. In the USA, Chris worked at Merrill Lynch's Mergers & Acquisitions Group and then at Centerview Partners, and in India, he has been running Snow Leopard Group since 2012.
