About the role:

Description:

- As part of the CEO's Office team, you would be tasked with working on all analysis internally of the current business mix as well as financial modelling, investor reporting, and underlying analytics on the business.

- You will focus on strategic projects that require analyzing our financial performance along with accurate reporting of data. You will also be responsible for building and instituting accurate financial reporting processes across our businesses, in compliance with industry best practices and norms.

Responsibilities:

- Working closely with the leadership team at KCPL to develop financial models, company valuation models, etc.

- Support in stakeholder discussions, debt and investor relations if applicable and all external reporting of company performance

- Work closely with the finance and operations teams, to provide monthly reporting

- Managing relationships externally and working closely with the finance team for any due diligence requirements through the debt raising cycle

- Analyze and understand requirements of the leadership team for financial/ business analysis and work closely with the MD/promoter shareholders

- Rigorous, detailed analytical work such as cohort analyses, on customer base, supplier base, other stakeholders

- Working with potential technology service providers to ensure the creation of a proper ERP system to enable the previous aforementioned point on analytics so that it is done efficiently and not with VLOOKUP/manual work in Microsoft Excel

- The ideal candidate will be skilled at communicating and coordinating with internal teams as well as business heads and management to deliver solutions in clear and concise written and verbal communications

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Strong analytical capabilities to analyze data and create complex financial models for the purpose of forecasting and reporting to investors on the latest performance

- Capability to communicate succinctly with external parties and a variety of internal teams for any leadership requirements

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a penchant for attention to detail

- Understanding of tech and finance data sources leveraged for reporting requirements including product metrics, etc.

- Strong mathematical skills and understanding of financial services parlance

- Excellent problem solving, analytical and accounting and audit skills

- Outstanding organizational skills, self-disciple, diligence and ability to work under pressure

Education and Experience:

- An ideal profile would be an audit/management consultancy analyst with a CA/ Engineering graduation and strong mathematical abilities. Target companies could include Financial Analysts in banks, consulting firms, BIG-4s, Investment banks, VC/PE funds, business analysts/ business finance in startups, etc.
