Position Summary -

This position would be a financial partner to the Supply Chain Director. It will be responsible for Mill Finance (including controls and hygiene) and play a role in driving supply chain projects and measuring delivery.

- Reports to Finance Director, India

- India Supply Chain Leadership Team

Accountabilities

Finance Partner for Mill Operations:

- Drive financial and commercial hygiene across the mill operations.

- Responsible for commercial control across mill operations.

- Detailed analysis of mill, cost, efficiencies and seek opportunities for cost effectiveness.

- Responsible for leading and executing financial and commercial activities at the mill.

- Responsible for processes relating to the accounting and updating of the mill result.

- Responsible for working closely with the central team on projects, initiatives and day to day operations.

- Work closely with the financial consulting team on processes and controls.

- Responsible for the fiscal compliances specifically excise at the mill.

- In-depth detailed, comprehensive & incisive analysis of mill cost and performance on an ongoing basis.

- Responsible for overseeing, analyzing, and driving mill and 3rd party conversion cost and budget administration.

- Evaluation of CAPEX proposals and controls over spends and projects deliverables.

- Overseeing mill month end closing.

- Championing internal controls over 3rd party operations and underlining periodic review over operating profit.

- Identify and make recommendations that optimize business processes and improve financial and other internal controls

- Partner with Supply chain team in driving Inventory (DIO), AP (DPO) improvement initiatives as per Plan

Finance Partner for Supply Chain Operations

- Driving Cost Transformation Projects - from ideation to monitoring delivery to measurement & reporting

- Budgeting for Supply Chain costs - From Mill to Depots to CHA to Primary/ Secondary Freight. Measurement of budget vs actuals

- Partnering with the procurement team to understand material price forecasts and updating the material cost forecast to the FP&A team

- Monitoring working capital and suggesting course corrections

- Partnering key supply chain projects and providing inputs for optimization

- Cost Benchmarking across KC Mills, Competition - understanding product BoM in detail

Qualifications & Competencies

- CA with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience

- Experience of working in a MNC in FMCG/Consumer Durables/Manufacturing/Pharmaceuticals industry

- Experience in factory finance and logistics finance

- Experience in Capex evaluation

- Good at stakeholder management

- Have 'continuous improvement' mindset
