Job description:

- Would be responsible for the entire deal life cycle from origination to execution primarily in TMT sector (includes IT/ITes, HR-Tech, Health-Tech, Ed-Tech etc)

- Originating and cultivating relationships at the promoter / CXO levels

- Develop relationships with cross-border investment banks, company auditors, and another intermediary for sourcing the transactions

- Supervise a team of associates and analysts for preparing information memorandum, financial model, research work, and pitch deck

- Train and mentor junior bankers (Associates and Analysts) as they develop core investment banking skill sets

- Understand and analyze financial statements and MIS. Understanding of KPIs is must

- Spearhead research and analysis of industry trends, trading, and transaction comparable

- Take responsibility for complete P&L of your team

Qualifications/Attributes:

- MBA (preferably from a premier institute) or CA with a good academic background

- Prior work experience that includes working with investment banking, management consulting and/or large firms with active deal origination businesses is must

- Experience on live mandates and deal closure is must

- Any experience in business development function would be added advantage

- Superior financial analysis / financial modelling skills

- Detailed oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills

- Excellent in communication and proficient in English; Ability to interact with C-Level Executives
