Your role

We, at Khatabook, are looking for a Vice President with an experienced SaaS and Channel sales and business development leader to join the growing company's leadership team. In this role, you are responsible for developing and executing sales and go-to-market strategies that help achieve new client sales & revenue goals for the company.

The role will also work closely with other stakeholders to drive the company's strategic direction and resource allocation.

What would you do at Khatabook

- Drive end-to-end sales for new business across direct and channel partners including retention and renewal of users across direct and channel partners.

- Establish and grow the network of channel partners.

- Establish and drive business OKRs and help build processes, CRM, and other tools needed to scale sales and work with the teams to achieve them.

- Provide business insights to the Product team and help build the product.

- Work cross-functionally across Leadership, Marketing, Analytics, Product, and HR team.

- Drive revenue through discovering, prospecting, and creating new business.

- Drive sales by developing and executing sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets.

- Establish and execute business development strategies and coordinate all activities to achieve the financial objectives.

- Identifying new business opportunities and follow-up the defined business opportunities.

- Responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closure.

- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting partner relationships.

- Help the company communicate the value proposition through accurate diagnostics, presentations and proposals.

- Demonstrating and clearly differentiating the product from the competition by focusing on the value proposition.

- Responsible for the timely execution of proposals and contracts.

- Managing forecasts accurately and delivering against substantial revenue targets and achieving the assigned sales volume.

- Regular forecast updates to the leadership of the business.

- Drive the culture of Khatabook across all levels.

What are we looking for

- Experience in executing Channel and SaaS sales - 8-15 years of experience in a sales role and a good understanding of solutions selling methodology and tools.

- Experience in handling SaaS products or exposure to software sales.

- Experience scaling channel networks, direct sales, renewal, customer success, etc., or working on end-to-end sales (New Business & Renewals).

- Worked as a National head, Sales Head, or in a leadership role in Sales & Strategy.

- Experience managing a large team of more than 80+ direct and indirect reportees.

- Strong exposure to Analytics and willingness to travel as per the business requirements.

- Proven experience and track record of enterprise solution sales in driving revenue through discovering, prospecting, and creating new business.

- A great communicator, presenter, and influencer. Must have impeccable verbal and written communication and negotiation skills (Both English and Hindi).

- Consistent track record of beating targets. Must be aggressive towards driving increased revenue and sales, month on month.

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close including strong networking and relationship-building ability.

- Critical business thinking is essential.

- High energy with the desire and ability to grow and thrive in a dynamic start-up environment.
