Vice President - Equity Capital Markets

Responsibilities:

- Person to be well versed with SEBI laws, compliances, IPO Main Board regulations, workings in Indian Market.

- Drafting, vetting and Due Diligence of offer documents as per SEBI Regulations. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Liaison with SEBI & Stock exchange not only for filing documents but also to get clearance & approvals.

- The candidate will be responsible for providing compliance coverage to the Firm's ECM business, IPO Right Issues, take overs, Buy Backs, De-listings etc

- Work closely with the investment banking team, legal, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless end to end deal execution.

- Identify regulatory trends and developments, advising business staff as to how this may affect their current activities and work with supervisors to implement any required changes to current policy / practice.

- Well versed & networked with market participants such as Lawyers, Registrar, Bankers, Printers, Advertising and IR firms.

Desired Profile:

- Education - LLB/CS/ CFA with good experience min 6-7 years in Indian Equity Capital market compliances, due diligence, execution and processing.

- Ability to make, support and defend difficult and complex regulatory/compliance decisions in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.

- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes

- Good communication and eye for detail.
