Key Accounts Manager- Oncology

Currently we are looking for a "Key Accounts Manager- oncology" for a leading innovator pharmna MNC.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Developing account strategies and plans:

- Identify opportunities and strategies to enhance the positioning of Oncology products at a local level.

- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to craft a local strategy and business plan to achieve targets and further enhance the positioning of Oncology products.

Building strong stakeholder relationships:

- Engage with Oncology Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to discuss approved indications, product efficacy, safety profiles, and treatment protocols for appropriate patient care.

- Establish and nurture ongoing collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

- Share stakeholder insights and information within the organization to strengthen relevant activities such as product development, marketing, and sales efforts.

Enhancing healthcare ecosystem knowledge and capability:

- Develop knowledge and understanding of Company Oncology value proposition, as well as product indications and efficacy data among relevant stakeholders.

- Utilize various communication approaches, techniques, and channels to disseminate knowledge among Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) and Decision-Making Units (DMU).

- Conduct science-based discussions with HCPs aligned with approved indications of company products.

- Organize multidisciplinary workshops for HCPs and support awareness creation among oncology nurses regarding relevant training programs and workshops.

Achieving sales goals and adherence to budget:

- Drive sales performance to meet or exceed expectations while managing allocated budgets.

- Effectively promote the benefits of company Oncology brands using fair balance messages and appropriate promotional tools.

- Ensure optimal utilization of company products in alignment with national/local guidelines and product licenses.

Ensuring compliance:

- Complete all training requirements, including product examinations.

- Adhere to external regulations and internal policies, including the company Code of Ethics, Global External Interactions Policy, Standards, and Privacy Policy, particularly in interactions with Patient Groups.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in science and MBA from a reputable institution.

- 3+ years of experience in Oncology/IVF/Laparoscopic Surgeon segments.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proficient negotiation and influencing skills.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Deep understanding of the patient pathway and institutional roles.

- Collaborative and cross-functional teamworking skills to coordinate with multiple business units.

- Scientific mindset to comprehend and communicate the fundamentals of company products.

- Interpersonal skills to foster relationships with external stakeholders.

- Self-motivated and driven, consistently demonstrating company values.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.

- Strong business acumen.
