The Key responsibilities will entail:
- Manage and build strong relationships with global accounts, including leading global map players and large global MNCs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key clients, understanding their business goals, challenges, and requirements.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell company's products and services within the global accounts.
- Drive sales growth by effectively presenting and promoting our products and services to key stakeholders.
- Develop account plans and strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within assigned global accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including data engineering, marketing, and product development, to ensure customer needs are met and to maximize revenue potential.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks within global accounts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to key stakeholders, including senior management and executives at global accounts.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for our organisation and global accounts.
- Monitor and track key account metrics, including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and market share, and take appropriate actions to achieve targets.
- Act as a liaison between global accounts and company, effectively communicating client feedback, requirements, and challenges to internal teams.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or a similar role, handling global accounts in the technology industry. Experience with GIS software or related solutions is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in managing large, complex accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Strong business acumen and good to have understanding of the GIS industry, maps, and data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with global accounts and attend industry events.
