Broad based responsibilities include Leadership, Strategy, General Management, Relationship Building with Key Customers which include the following essential functions -&nbsp; - Provide information on key scope factors such as business/ product line or customer responsibilities, matrix relationships, geographic coverage, customer/site complexities, etc. - Responsible for account retention, and continued penetration at assigned accounts / customers. Responsible for achieving new target revenue at assigned accounts / customer. - May manage direct reports to support activities / projects within assigned accounts / customer. At times, may coach the direct reports in account leadership and skill development, both internal and external customer elements. (i.e., Product Expansion, Customer Service, JDE, Order Entry) - With the assistance of the Product Team, that may include Sales Manager, Product Managers and Technical Support Specialists to meet mutual (customer and Quaker) expectations and objectives. At times, requires assistance to successfully deliver to the customer, problem resolution with the appropriate use of internal resources. - Accountable for P&amp;L, product pricing, developing &amp; managing market share for entire product basket. - Responsible for managing all existing key accounts and developing new key accounts in Steel sector - Implement credit control measures for effective receivable management. - Manages assigned accounts / customers with the assistance of their Sales Manager / Key Account Manager and Product Manager. In general, this includes the entire sales and product conversion process through close of sale, determining and influencing internal resources to maintain and close sale (organizational agility), and building relationships at multiple levels at the customer. Specifically, this included the following -&nbsp; - Identifies applications and assesses product needs. - Supports product development and research ideas. - Communicates the needs of the customer base, and delivers information to internal R&amp;D and Product Management Teams. - Promotes the core product range to new and current accounts (not assigned to Process Engineers). Experience / Exposure/ Education: The following competencies &amp; criteria form an essential part for the incumbent. - Excellent written and oral communication skills, Strong leadership acumen &amp; behavior. Stakeholder management - Strong understanding of the Industrial Lubricants and its developments. Must possess the ability to retain and build new business opportunities at existing accounts. - At least 15-20 years of successful experience in appropriate industry (Steel, Metalworking, Fluid Power etc.) is required with at least 5 years in Leadership role/position and currently handling around 350 crore of business turnover. - Graduate degree in Chemical / mechanical engineering from Premier Engineering Institutes - A diploma/degree in Sales &amp; Marketing Management from Premier B Schools would be an added advantage. Candidates must be from Industrial Lubricant companies.
