POSITION TITLE: KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER/ RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (Corporate Sales only)

REPORTS TO: BRANCH MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Relationship Manager is responsible for retaining current accounts and development of new business. They are also responsible for simultaneously managing multiple customer opportunities at various changes of acquisition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

Sales Target & Gross Margin

- Map the current accounts, key decision makers and review buying patterns. Ensure retention of the accounts.

- Successfully develop and deliver the agreed segment strategy and sales target in line with the overall business strategy.

- Focus on Gross Margin returns as part of overall sales.

- Influence the various buying influencers in target customers to increase the share of purchases made by the company.

- Negotiate with strong commercial and financial awareness.

Operations

- Develop and utilize an insightful knowledge base of current customer buying strategies.

- Champion the account planning process to ensure ongoing focus execution and delivery.

- Identify and work with relevant business resources to ensure delivery of SLAs.

- Participate with Business Development Manager assigned to new accounts to win and develop the account.

Perfect Order Culture Metrics

- Perfect proposal compliance.

- Perfect Contract Sign-off

- Perfect Account Roll-out

- Perfect Post Roll-out

Managing Customer Satisfaction

- Responsible for ensuring at least 90% at level 4 rating.

- Managing all level 2 escalations.

KRAs

- Total Sales

- Total Gross Margin

- Sales growth

- Realistic Sales funnel

- Retention Rate

- Average order Value

Experience

- 3+ years’ corporate sales experience, minimum 1 year in relationship management.

- Selling complex, solution based services/ products.

- Managing multiple customers

Competencies

- Strong communication skills.

- Excellent Negotiation skills with commercial and financial awareness

- Ability to identify and work with relevant business resources.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize according to impact.

- Demonstrate understanding of principal value chain.
