In your role as ASM - General Trade, you will be part of our success by:- - Anchoring achievement of Volume and Value targets by Month, QTR &amp; Year - Planning and Forecasting. - Ensuring delivery of process KPI eg. Bills cut, Mandays, Linesold etc. - Coach field force to improve sales capabilities to achieve executional excellence thru planned field contacts. - Pioneering executional excellence by building sales capabilities through coaching of field force. - Ensuring Targeted distribution &amp;display in his area as per Targets given. - Execute trade marketing initiatives thru field force. - Achieving control targets in terms of FG&amp;A and overheads. - Ensuring the right caliber people are motivated and trained to achieve ambitious business plans consistently. - Demonstrating exemplary leadership behavior by providing return on investment to stakeholders through continuous monitoring of agreed norms and service levels - Ensure the area team consists of the right caliber people who are motivated and trained to achieve ambitious business plans consistently. - Responsible for ensuring return on investment to distributors this continuous monitoring of agreed norms and service levels. WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE? As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in General Trade, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements: Essential: - University Degree - Excellent understanding of Sales, Methods &amp; Processes - Fluent in English language - 6 to 9 yrs. of Sales experience in a FMCG environment having managed front line sales team as ASM. - Experience of working in FMCG or Food Space. - Ability to create and analyse reports, spreadsheets and sales statistics. - Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular). - Leadership and organizational abilities. - Interpersonal and communication skills - Problem-solving attitude - Understand various evolving channels of trade - Experience of managing General Trade at area level Preferred: - MBA Working Relationships: - Reports to - Position Reports to AD Sales - Supervises whom - Position supervises SO- s/ AM- s - Peer Relationships - Other RCMM/ ASM In the region.
