As the Sales Finance Controller at T.A.C, you will play a vital role in providing strategic and operational support to help the business achieve key KPIs of top-line and bottom-line growth while ensuring strong control and governance. You will be responsible for various aspects of financial management related to sales, including P&L analysis, trade, media, and marketing spend tracking, pricing decisions, distributor management, order release, credit management, claims management, collections, cash flow management, and audit support.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and share Regional Channel P&L reports with actionable insights on SKU and customer level profitability.
- Monitor and track trade, media, and marketing spend, collaborating with the Sales & Marketing Team for quarterly budgeting and control.
- Support the business with pricing decisions and administration, conducting SKU profitability analysis, pricing reviews, and ensuring price update.
- Manage distributor relationships, including reviewing and approving customer/distributor code openings in the system, periodic reviews of the distributor database, and maintaining commercial hygiene.
- Ensure timely order release by the team and adherence to payment SOPs. Conduct temporary credit evaluation and approval as needed to support business operations.
- Improve efficiency in the claim approval process, conducting monthly ledger and trade spend reconciliations, and collaborating with RSM/ZSM/ASM to identify delays and reduce old pendency.
- Arrange quarterly reconciliation of all direct MT customers and Key Accounts.
- Manage collections and cash flow, sharing weekly aging reports with stakeholders, and collaborating for timely collections and monitoring.
- Provide support for statutory and internal audits.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG or consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with statutory and internal audits is a plus.
