Purpose of the role: Business head and P& L management. Developing ideas and products around AIF, Real estate; Portfolio Management- both Debt and equity. Grow AUM, fund performance and client relationships. Working closely with the MD/Chairman and Board


- Identify and develop Institutional Clients / Fund Houses / Portfolio Manager. Acquire new clients (FIIs/Domestic FIs) and build the Institutional client base

- You will guide and direct HNI Sales effort. Meet & exceed business targets in terms of volume of business generated and number of institutional clients enrolled. In addition, developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new customers will be a key indicator of future success expectations

- Identify and develop Institutional Clients / Fund Houses / Portfolio Manager. Acquire new clients (FIIs/Domestic FIs) and build the Institutional client base

- Identify, convert & develop successful business relationships with Institutional Clients, Fund Houses, Portfolio Managers, Investment - Advisors, Private Equity Firms, Banks, FIIs, DIIs, HNI/UHNI & other Institutional Investor segments

- Responsible for revenue generation in terms of overall sales and new client acquisition

Arranging Roadshow, one to one meeting with Companies, HNI's and Institutional clients

- Maintaining key business relationships across both new and existing clients and partners

- Effectively execute and manage every element of the sales process on an individual level

- Team and stakeholder management

Nature of Experience

- Experience across Corporate lending, Capital markets, PE funds, Private investment, fund management with administrative and general management capabilities required to manage P & L

- 7 to 10 years of experience specifically in Fund management, including AIF, Institutional and HNI Sales, Risk management and proposal evaluation of clients in Indian markets.

- Proven experience in niche wealth/asset management product and AIF sales with a documented record of success, an active client base and good corporate contacts.

- Strong relationships with key financial advisors, Institutions and Fund Houses.

- Excellent understanding of financial markets and analytical mindset including ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents

- You will have an MBA or similar from Tier 1 institutes in India or globally

- Previous background in Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Investment management or Asset Management would be strongly preferred

- A strong sense of ethics, integrity, honesty and self-initiative

- Team work and coloration, strong interpersonal, presentation, public speaking and communication skills

Years of Experience

- 18 - 24 Years with min 7 years as Head of Marketing in financial services/wealth management firms
