Summary :

BigFoot Retail Solutions has defined what sell-side eCommerce means in India via its two products KartRocket and Kraftly.

We are looking for a seasoned category management leader who can build, lead and manage a team of category managers for our C2C Mobile Marketplace - Kraftly. As VP Category Management, it will be your role to oversee seller onboarding both from digital marketing, organic and manual outreach techniques to ensure we achieve the right density across various categories as well as geographies.

You will also have the overall responsibility for GMV that arises from all categories across the marketplace.

We expect the candidate to have a customer category management background and a well rounded experience in driving key management decisions, alignment with vision and strategy, building and following an analytics and data driven approach, people management and team building. The candidate must be comfortable with being a - mini-CEO- for their area and should be able to instrument all responsibilities in this role from stakeholder management, to setting priorities as well as of course ensuring that overall targets are met.

Responsibilities & Scope :

- You will be responsible for driving business growth and market share for specific categories that Kraftly focuses on along with ensuring we are on track to hit our targets for seller acquisition as well as catalog acquisition.

- You will also be required to liaise with Marketing, Operations and Product teams to ensure cohesion and drive organizational level targets by communicating amongst all teams.

- You will need to define the strategy, identify opportunities and create and execute upon a plan for seller acquisition, analysis and retention.

- You will need to interact with Product and Marketing to ensure the correct visual merchandising, collections and push/email/sms messaging takes place to drive sales across various categories.

- Also, keep in mind that we're a startup and we expect almost everyone to get their hands dirty. You could be taking customer calls every now and then to lending your experience towards the company's vision all is game.

- Develop a plan that ensures widest range based on consumer segment insights, regional requirements, marketplace knowledge, and competitive data (both online and offline retail)

- Provide timely information around consumer insights, sales conversions to marketing and product teams so they can plan better.
