Manager, Marketing and Expansion will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing and expansion plans for Karma Healthcare in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This position reports to the CEO. Skills & Experience: 1. 3+ years of relevant work experience in marketing. 2. Master's Degree in business, analytics, economics, engineering and/or relevant field of study 3. A deep understanding of rural communities, their behavior and what drives them will be highly desired. Past experiences where the candidate has influenced rural community behavior/mindset or sold a product or a service to the rural consumer will be ideal but not mandatory. 4. Good Team Management and Project Management skills. 5. Good analytical skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes. 6. Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels 7. Excellent communication skills 8. Ability to think creatively and innovatively 9. Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Use market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. 2. Screen, identify potential locations' for expansion and be responsible for their launch. 3. Approve and oversee the creative development of promotional materials, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects 4. Do on-ground research, learn from past marketing efforts and analyze data to arrive at strategic plans. The plan should include practical, doable, and cost effective activities. 5. Interview, hire, and train marketing/outreach staff members 6. Research and analyse market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products, and other relevant information to form marketing strategies 7. Work with outreach & marketing staff to develop detailed marketing plans for all media channels and sales teams 8. Communicate with various media buyers, advertising agencies, printers, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition 9. Provide in-depth information to interested clients, and act as a representative for the marketing department in important buyer meetings 10. Work within the department budget to develop cost-effective marketing plans for each product or service 11. Track all marketing and sales data and creates detailed written reports and verbal presentations to bring to senior executives 12. Adjust marketing campaigns and strategies as needed in response to collected data and other feedback 13. Present findings and suggestions to Company Directors & other Senior Managers 14. Travel to trade shows, conferences and sales meetings 15. This role is a great opportunity for a hands-on and on ground learning experience. The candidate must be prepared to get his hands dirty and get involved in on ground operations to device his overall strategy. 16. Thinking out of the box and coming up with innovative, creative and output oriented methods for reaching out to rural communities will be critical for this role.
