Financial Reporting

- Preparing the company's financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.

- Ensuring compliance with regulations.

- Presenting financial reports to the executive team.

Budgeting and Forecasting

- Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.

- Analyzing variances between actual performance and forecasts.

Internal Controls

- Maintaining internal controls over financial reporting.

- Ensuring accuracy and quality control in financial transactions and reporting.

- Risk Management Researching technical accounting issues for compliance.

Managing financial risk.

Additional Duties:

- Overseeing accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue Recognition.

- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.

- Complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

- Documenting business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.

Requirements and Skills:

- An advanced degree in accounting.

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions.
