Job description:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role will help strengthen the overall supply chain and operations of the organization. Role involves understanding and adapting to new technical innovations in the SCM and operations area to improve business efficiencies.

Here are the key expectations from the role:

1. Design and deploy strategies to ensure efficient management of inventory

2. Creating SOP for all key processes around movement of goods and information

3. Implementing technologies to improve costs and efficiencies of each process

4. Ensure fill-rate is maintained at optimum levels

5. Implementation of a strong forecasting and demand management system

6. Maintaining warehousing with proper systems and continuous optimization of warehouse functions

7. Cost efficiency improvement across all aspects of supply chain

8. Meeting and improving on the targets related to DSI and other supply chain parameters

9. External vendor management

10. Management of warehouse and supply chain team.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Proficiency with all MS Office tools, SAP & other reporting and forecasting software like JDA.

2. Exposure to new age cloud-based CRM and ERP tools like Zoho, Freshbooks and so on..

3. Very strong presentation & communication skills.
