Requirements Details: Designation: Head - Food Operations (Orchids The International School) Location: Bangalore Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in experience in running a food operations. - This role would be responsible for everything ranging from strategy and planning Food Operations and executive coordination. - This is a key role that impacts all the new initiatives of the business you will be working with team members and leaders, both internal and external. - You will have the ability to directly impact, improve decisions and processes. - This role will experience what works, and learn from what doesn't. Responsibilities: - Identify, define, manage, and drive food operations for Orchids Schools. - Facilitate effective decision-making for the new initiatives and projects you have undertaken - Plans, organizes, assigns, and supervises the work of a number of diversified personnel engaged in food preparation and service. - Observes quality of food service and gives instructions for maintenance of high standards. - Develops and prepares menus according to sound dietary principles. - Reviews inventory and requisitions and purchases food supplies as required; makes direct special purchases. - Assigns and trains personnel and determines work schedules. Requirements: Total 5+ years' of experience - Experience of serving 1000 meals a day - Excellent communicator and relationship builder. - Experience in organizing and managing cross-functional projects. - Self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable with operating in ambiguity
