What is the role?

The Product Manager will influence a cross-functional team to deliver. This role coordinates and inspires the creation of innovative products and services in an agile development environment and ensures delivery of the features and functionality to maintain and grow business. The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing and bringing products to market while meeting key business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS :

- Experience managing mobile products on both iOS and Android platforms

- Knowledgeable in native mobile experiences

- Track record driving and delivering large, complicated projects on time and within scope

- Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to roll up your sleeves and try different things with minimal direction

- Loves and understands technology. Stays current on competition and disruptors in the market

- Is organized, and can plan, forecast and manage a product backlog

- Possesses a unique blend of business and technical savvy.

- Must demonstrate favorable results through leadership and influence multiple individuals, groups, and cross-functional relationships

- Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent ability to communicate and work with stakeholders across the organization

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Works with engineering to drive product development from conceptualization through launch - creating actionable plans, work streams, tactics and deliver on those in support of business KPI- s

- Manages the product roadmap for your strategic area, setting expectations with all relevant stakeholders

- Can operate under limited supervision is provided as this individual can operate, drive results, and set priorities independently

- Works with product marketing, design, engineering, quality etc. to successfully deliver products to market

- Leverages data/analytics to make tactical and strategic product decisions

- Demonstrate favorable results through leadership and influencing multiple individuals and groups

- Cultivates a deep understanding of the customer and work tirelessly to identify new opportunities to improve their experience

- Produces and manages usability studies, product metrics, competitive, customer and market analysis into product requirements to identify new opportunities

- Strives to be a subject matter expert in their strategic focus area(s) by identifying the challenges our customers- face and defines new opportunities to improve our customers- experience

- Controls scope of large projects

- Removes business related roadblocks to ensure success product delivery on time and within scope

- All other duties as assigned

Location : Bangalore

Preferred qualifications :

- 2017-20 MBA graduates from top B-Schools and/or undergraduates from premier institutes with interest in eCommerce/ Internet/ Technology.

- Candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, be highly numbers-oriented and possess strong data-crunching ability.

- Candidate should be able to keep the bigger picture in mind while effectively managing detail.

- Enthusiasm, aggression, street-smartness, ability to gel with cross-functional teams

- Strong knowledge of MS Excel is a must, candidate should love numbers! Knowledge of Python or R is a plus

- Ability to work with minimum supervision, adhere to tight timelines and be self-motivated

- Ability to work in unstructured (dynamic) environment, one who takes initiatives

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
