Junior Sales Associate - Consulting Firm

Our client, a global consulting firm, is looking for a Junior Sales Associate to join their team in Delhi.




Contractual Role

Responsibilities:

Our client has been engaged by an industrial construction material company for a sales transformation exercise. This includes sales productivity and trade spend reduction. Our client requires a junior sales associate to come on board to assist it with the transformation exercise.

The role involves a lot of on-the-ground execution of strategy which will be decided over 12 months. The Sales Associate will have to work with the sales organization, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the sales value chain and include a broad range of deliverables as agreed by our client and their end client.

Multiple responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Sales manning optimization

- Re-beating

- Store execution transformation

- Developing & Improving Stakeholder relationships

- Implementation of revised trade spend norms

Mandatory Requirements:

- 3-5 years of FMCG or traditional trade model sales experience

- Previous experience of working in sales; preferred industry will be construction material, however, open to looking at other industries

- Travel will be required.

This role is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 6-month full-time contract and is likely to extend.
