Job Description

Location: Chennai

Must : CA /CMA

Qualification & Preferred Skills:

- Chartered Accountant or equivalent

- At least 5 years' experience with listed multinational company with experience in preparation of financial statements.

- EPC company or Big 4 Accounting firms experience preferred

- Working experience in application of IFRS

- Proficiency in MS office applications

- Previous experience in Oracle EBS/Cloud application preferred

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY :

- Ensure error-free monthly book closing activity

- Carry out detailed budget vs actual variance analysis of the income statement and flag-off any material variance for management's action

- Take complete control of preparation of monthly statutory financials and ensure that they are in accordance with IFRS and as per the local accounting regulations

PROBLEM SOLVING:

- Analyze complex transactions and giving suggestions for facilitating hassle-free accounting

- Ensuring that monthly book-closing and year-end audit related processes are subject to continuous improvement and thorough checks to avoid any audit findings

- Managing accounting assistants and training them on the various accounting related aspects

- Prepares KPI reports / intuitive analysis as required by various stakeholders

- Using data mining skills and problem-solving skills to uncover potential areas for concern and translate numbers into actionable insights for management use
