Junior Data Scientist - IT

- Develop predictive models that address business needs and measuring performance of these models to ensure business improvements

- Work closely with the business to collect feedback, incorporating in the product, as well as maintaining and improving its functionality over time

- Develop and contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity

- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation

- Assist data scientists in multiple projects simultaneously and should be able to work independently

Qualification

- Degree (B.Tech, MSor equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics or Engineering) - Premier Institutes

- 0-2 years of work experience in data science and statistical modeling.

- Supervised Machine Learning Algorithms: Logistic Regression, Bayesian Approach, Decision Trees, Support Vector Machines. Neural Networks, Ensemble Methods, Feature selection techniques etc

- A very clear understanding of probability and statistics, analytical approach to problem solving, and capability to think critically on a diverse array of problems

- Expertise in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, C++ and experience with relational datbase and NoSQL database.

- Experience in processing, manipulating, analyzing and visualizing the data and should be able to identify trends in data
