Jumbotail - Operations Manager

Jumbotail is looking for a smart Operations Manager to help them provide modern financial services and credit to small kirana shopkeepers.

She / He will be responsible to build dynamic processes to keep up with the rapidly growing nature of Jumbotail and will be working on the cutting-edge intersection of food, technology, entrepreneurship fueling India's economic development and future prosperity. This role will require high levels of adaptability, resourcefulness and an entrepreneurial spirit to support Jumbotail as it expands into its next phase of growth.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. B2M process design and management

- Build dynamic processes to keep up with the rapidly growing nature of Jumbotail

- Design and execute strategies to test and drive product adoption amongst customers (Kirana shopkeepers).

- Build processes around communication, education, and incentivisation in collaboration with our Customer Experience colleagues to ensure that customers can use new products

2. Team Management

- Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

- Hire, train and lead a team of fleet credit executives and customer care officers who will educate customers and onboard them onto new products.

- Monitor team performance and oversee day-to-day credit operations

3. Analytical ability

- Interpret and convert quantitative and qualitative data into business insights

- Strong understanding of secondary research, customer mapping and segmentation to draw actionable insights through customer feedback.

Does this sound like you-

Required:

- 3-5 years of experience working with small to mid-sized banks, MFIs or NBFCs

- Experience managing a team of 5+ employees

- Experience with B2C or B2M sales, operations, or marketing

Preferred:

- Experience building operational systems and processes for credit

- Working knowledge with CRM based software tools like salesforce

- Working knowledge with SQL

- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with extreme fluency in spoken and written English

- Fluent verbal Kannada communication

- Fluent verbal Hindi, Tamil and Telugu communication preferred
