JOB DESCRIPTION :

We're looking for a Copy Writer who :

- Develop effective, original and targeted marketing copy- for the promotion and sale of goods and services for the next billion people of India.

- Write & edit creative materials for digital promotion- , direct marketing (flyers, brochures etc), product, service & policy communication.

- Work collaboratively with stakeholders- (Customer Delight, Business, Marketing, Catalog, Design, Legal) & understand the brief to be communicated.

- Communicate the complex ideas,- workflows, policy requirements, merchandise schemes, and other such information in a simplified manner- .

- Collaborate with the business & content team- to execute merchandise activities within the scheduled timelines.

- Build & maintain a thorough understanding - of the target audience, business, and communication across various platforms.

- Maintain the accurate tone- , style, and consistency in writing content.

- Curate and ensure consistency in communication- between multiple Indian Languages.

- Understand the different language- styles that appeal to various target markets.

REQUIREMENTS :

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has :

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from top tier institute or equivalent professional experience required.

- 1-4 years of proven professional experience as content or copy writer

- Experience in advertising, both traditional and digital.

- Excellent command over English, Kannada - & other languages.

- Expert at writing skills- , editing, and proofreading abilities.

- Ability to write concise,- attention grabbing and hard-hitting copy.

- Creative bend of mind - with the ability to think visually

- Ability to research and design - communication systems for an audience who are multilingual and not necessarily literate in their own mother tongue.

- Exposure to writing print promotional- materials, online content, press releases, copy to assist advertising and marketing efforts, etc.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced - startup environment, deliver within short time frames and meet tight deadlines.

- Ability to give attention to details,- acknowledge feedback and manifest it constructively.

- Have excellent interpersonal- and communication skills.

- Possess good people and project management skills.
