Jubilant Foodworks - Supply Chain Manager - Emerging Business Unit

Job Purpose & Context

The position has responsibility for leading the Supply Chain function for CHEF BOSS (FMCG brand) which is into multiple categories (sauces, seasonings, Ready to cook sauces). Candidate should have experience in planning, sourcing, logistics and Warehousing and basic understanding of how supply chain function works in FMCG industry

The person proactively develops and integrates short term/long-term sourcing/logistics strategies Collaborating with other cross functional teams focused on cost control, process improvements or other specific supply chain initiatives to achieve competitive advantage and improve responsiveness to customer demand. Develops and owns the relationship with suppliers including development and execution of business plans to meet corporate objectives.

Candidate is expected to be open to learning and taking leads on projects, proactive measures to be taken in all verticals; ensure high customer service scores and develop a strong trust with cross functional teams

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Define supply chain strategies for FMCG business and execute

- OTIF levels of 99%+

- Understanding of buying Cycles & Supply Planning as per Sales forecasts

- Sourcing from Multiple suppliers across the country

- Primary & Secondary Logistics set up at the most competitive rates and minimum TAT's

- Capacity Building - Supplier Base Expansion

- Commercial Negotiations and Sourcing Tools (RFI, RFP/RFQ)

- Contract Management

- Capability Building - Lead and develop the team

- Ensuring right governance and controls in line with organizational policies and SOPs. Complete management of all orders dispatches

- Researches and analyses market intelligence data for trends in product prices which could directly impact category spend

- Understand business, demand and requirements and its implications on sourcing and supplier base

- Annual Budgeting and Planning - Ensuring costs delivered as per budget

- Identify & implement value engineering initiatives for cost optimization in product, packaging, warehousing & logistics

- Closely work with user and related cross functional teams to ensure on time in full availability of services or material.

- Build strong relationship with suppliers for long term competitive advantage

- Build robust mechanisms for tracking market prices and benchmarking with competition

- Stakeholder management:

- Internal - Various functions- Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain Centres, Quality & Regulatory, Product Development, Marketing, Finance & Legal

- External - Business Partners, Industry Bodies, Research Organizations etc.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

- 4-6 years of experience in sourcing, Planning and logistics category management, supplier development, contracting & negotiations in Indirect/ Services buying in food service / FMCG industry

- Qualification - Post Graduate in Supply Chain; MBA, preferred- Premier Colleges

- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work in a deadline driven environment with cross- functional teams.

- Good interpersonal skills to manage various stakeholders

- Ability to lead team and manager cross functional stakeholders & business partners

- Experience of building, strengthening and sustaining strong supplier relationships
