KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description - Sound understanding of Goods &amp; Service Tax (GST) - Understanding of earlier Indirect Taxes being VAT, Service Tax etc. - Must have handled VAT, Statutory Forms &amp; waybills compliances of multiple States. - Study of purchase transactions &amp; invoices to avail maximum permissible Cenvat credits. - Study &amp; implement the processes for various cost saving opportunities. - Handling VAT Assessment and Audit by VAT &amp; Service Tax Department. - Handling of Appeals at various appellate level in VAT &amp; Service Tax Department. - Liaison with Revenue Authorities. - Handling Statutory Audit, Internal Audit. - Check, rectify &amp; improvements of various reports in system. - Must be managing a team of at-least 5 people. - Must have good communication &amp; convincing skills to deal with multiple departments &amp; function (both internal &amp; external) - Involvement in various new projects related to software &amp; system improvement. - Must have knowledge of SAP. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, &amp; SKILLS: Qualification &amp; Experience: C.A / C.W.A (with 5 years Exp.) or MBA (with 8 - 10 years of Exp.)
