Designation: General Manager Operations The Role: We are looking for the sales & ops leader for Dunkin Brand. Someone who is obsessed about growth, drives behaviours which keeps integrity at the heart and is obsessed with customer satisfaction. The ops leader should be sound commercially and should be passionate about food and beverage sector Passionate data driven leader who drives rigour in execution and takes pride in creating high performing ops organization. This role, will be a turnaround story of the brand and hence we are looking for leaders who have high positive energy, who dream big & deliver bigger and have the patience to always choose to take hard right. DUNKIN, in India has a mixed run so far, the brand operates largely in Donut space, which is limited due to demographic context and nature of the product. However globally DUNKIN is the market leader in coffee (by volume). It has more than 13000/- restaurant and a high double digit multibillion T/O. In India we have a mandate to drive the biggest 're-positioning' of the brand from Dunkin Donuts & More to only 'DUNKIN's. The re-launch is our endeavour to pivot to coffee forward brand. The incumbent will be responsible for translating the business vision and strategy into stores. Good strategy delivered with greater execution rigour on ground, will drive the transformation and will be the biggest game changer for Dunkin in the fast growing caf market in India. Dunkin strives to deliver a good coffee with affordable pricing to growing Indian middle class The head of ops will head the operational vertical and will be responsible for transforming 25 stores into coffee first (i) hold the model and its financial (ii) drive strategy for national expansion (iii) Craft with leadership future of Dunkin into a 150 restaurant brand in next 3 years. The incumbent, will be responsible for brand P&L, store wise profit, people capability and consumer NPS / recruitment / store food cost / and making sure great experience is delivered to guest every moment. - The Ops leader will be responsible for executing the brand re-launch in store, through store execution / training / driving the right P&L in store, driving great guest service - NPS. - Critical pillar of the business, the leader will be responsible for the P&L (Top line / Bottom line and COGS). KPI's (i) Top line (ii) Food costs (iii) NPS and (Iv) Delivered quality. Achieve store level KPI's and P&L - Responsible for the monthly/ quarterly target delivery and midterm strategy & budget planning. - Drive the store people agenda, through recruitment / training and development, keeping the energy at high levels for the store so they are engaged and deliver great results always. - The incumbent should be a leader who has a hunger to leave a lasting impact and most importantly is passionate about consumers and curious to solve problems and courageous to challenge the status quo. The person needs to works conjointly with stake holders and partner function - HR / Finance / Supply Chain / Product & IT and the corporate online and marketing function - Develops & executes store relaunch plan, drive growth in Coffee KPI, keep tight cost control. Have a strong hold on numbers and should be very high on analytics so that can check the inefficiency in P&L - People leadership, would be responsible for a direct team of around 10 people, providing them coaching & helping them to deliver great results and unlocking road blocks for them. - Lead Business review, managing the performance objectively, & driving performance driven accountability at every level Qualification & Experience: - Sales & Operational background. Analytical skills and ability to plan and follow on business targets is crucial. Economics of mathematical background to have not mandatory. Retail experience is an advantage Non- negotiable, prior experience in leading large ops/ sales team and people leadership - 10-15 Years of Total Experience in Sales Operations. - Exp in coffee / QSR business is a big plus or experience in trade and shopper marketing is a big advantage - Highly entrepreneurial person with great communication & negotiation skills. - Critical hard skills - Business planning, good in budget and P&L management & S&OP management. High on analytics, efficient use of all MS office tools. Comfortable with large amount of data and importantly can use data to drive insights and cut the problem in small easy to understand solution. - On a softer side, great team player, someone who can inspire the team for a common goal, can set really high standards for oneself and the team. The incumbent should be high on adaptability, agility & should be curious to learn & experiment. - Experience in retail /food service retail or sales leadership role in FMCG - Personality trait which will make you successful: Positive, high energy leadership. Someone who can work in ambiguity and can rally own team and the cross functional team towards a common vision. Given the brand is at a cusp of change, the incumbent should have the capability to look at the larger objective.
