Detailed Roles and Responsibilities : - Implement procurement strategy and policies - Calculating monthly inflation index. Savings/Loss against budget. - New Supplier development in line with category growth - Annual Budgeting and Planning - Researches and analyses market intelligence data for trends in commodity prices which could directly impact category spend. - Undertake measures towards cost improvements in sourcing activities - Develop cost models and supplier benchmarks to ensure lowest cost of procurement - Share of Business planning and monitoring - Conduct RFI's/RFP's with suppliers Supplier Management : - Evaluate, rank and recommend vendors to meet business requirements in terms of cost, time and quality following a systematic selection and evaluation procedure. - Identify suppliers for new product launches - Engage in supplier negotiation in order to ensure sourcing of materials at the lowest purchase price and to meet overall cost objectives - Signing off supply agreements with suppliers and renew yearly contracts - Calculating projections of key products on annual/monthly basis as per forecasted demand - Responsible for developing and buying materials in a timely and cost effective way while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications - Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier. - Coordinating for new product development with other departments as per requirement from time to time - Generate MIS on sourcing performance against budget on monthly basis QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, &amp; SKILLS : - Qualification : MBA preferred but not mandatory - Experience : 4+ years of hands on experience in sourcing of raw material/packaging materials and related commodities - Exposure on ARIBA platform will be an added advantage - Food Service industry experience is desirable - Good communication skills - Excellent organizational and project management skills - Team player, self-driven, Analytical and problem solving - Flexible, ability to work independently - Ability to work under pressure
