Job description : Roles & Responsibilities : The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and closing specific sales opportunities within target companies. Build business transformation propositions for prospects/ industries and present these to prospective customers. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business. - Identify potential leads independently through networking, cold-calling and/or other sources in the assigned territory/geography. - Creating and closing new business opportunities for the company, contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings - Finding and developing new markets and improving sales. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities, Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives - Work closely with Operations and delivery functions in ensuring successful execution of projects - Develop relationships with potential clients through presentations, business networking, telephone calls, personal emails, personal mailings, business forums, and/or other business or social Networking. - Generate client awareness and preference for the business and its services. May include developing/sending promotional material, authoring articles, presenting in business forums, business associations, etc. and attending conferences, meetings, and industry events - Identify and close specific sales opportunities within target companies. - Build business transformation propositions for prospects/industries and present these to prospective customers. - Recommend which opportunities the business should pursue using criteria such as highest probability of winning, profit potential, etc. - The BD consultant needs to be a part of client training, once all legal formalities and contract is executed. - The BD team needs to understand the process and nurture the process and hand it over to operations. This might take one or two weeks or even more based on nature of business. - The BD consultant need to travel to locations during the training period till the operations been stabilized as we are a lean team and also he would get to know the challenges involved during the training period. - Performance on operations: Once the handover is done then operations team need to share the monthly performance to the BD consultant so that we are all in the right track and also on the same page so that everyone is aware of what is happening with the client account. - The BD manager needs to get such BPO business which would qualify the skill sets of existing women force location wise as it is a rural BPO. - 30% of the entire year the BD team needs to travel to locations. They should stay till the process is nurtured and given to operations. - The HR and the business head to discuss in consensus on the leave management approvals. - Every quarter there would be a performance review on the business closures with HR & Head BPO Shakti - Revenue per seat cannot be less than 25K/Agent/Month - Quarterly target of 30 billable seats Working hours/ days : Monday to Saturday, 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM - Due to the nature of the work, you may be expected to work in a regular shift or be on call and it may be necessary to work extra hours to finish a job. As a BD Manager you will need to show evidence of the following: - In depth sales experience, with industry expertise and proven track record against getting good campaigns & generating revenue - Experience in transitioning campaigns on board (Inbound/Outbound) Lead Gen, Survey, and Sales - Should have in depth knowledge in negotiating/Quoting prices of different work models Skills : - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field - Experience in ITES sales, marketing or related field - Strong communication skills and IT fluency - Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty - Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint - Comfortable using a computer for various tasks Key Skills - business development management, Marketing management, Business management
