Roles &amp; Responsibilities: Learning &amp; Organizational Development : To develop, facilitate, monitor, align local and global strategy to support Learning &amp; Development plans that includes training and professional development opportunities that is consistent with the vision and mission of GKN, and Risk &amp; Compliance organization within GKN. Communication : - Direct the planning, implementation, and evaluation of leadership training and professional development activities, and programs - Providing advice and collaborating closely with HR Business Partners &amp; the business heads and their leadership teams on all Talent and possible other L&amp;D issues - Act as a consultant to specific business needs - example - town-halls, offsite, culture build, people challenges Facilitation : - Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills to facilitate the classes across levels - Ability to support 1-1 coaching and coaching for larger groups / forums Critical Thinking : - Provide leadership in developing and conducting assessment of implementation and quality of L&amp;D activities - Manage the process for budgeting for resources to meet identified L&amp;OD activities - Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of all required reports and maintain all records Proactive Orientation : - Strategize, plan, align and coordinate delivery of leadership training and professional development to ensure employees have the knowledge and skills to be successful in their jobs - Anticipate potential challenges and design contingencies to meet them - Ability to operate as an influential member of the global Risk &amp; Compliance L&amp;D team as well the broader regional L&amp;D team - Ability to work with, and effectively manage, external vendors to support the delivery of the development agenda - Awareness of leading edge technology trends within learning environment Skills : - Proven ability to engage and influence all levels of the organization, and to establish credibility and respect of employees, peers and managers - Project management skills experience in delivering value-creating projects, on time and within budget. - Ability to deliver under pressure and against aggressive timescales. - Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills - Thrives in uncertainty and ambiguity. - Commitment to supporting a team-focused environment - Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and innovative thinking
